SUNMALT®︎-S is a high-purity maltose, which is a disaccharide consisting of two glucose molecules bound with an α-1,4 linkage. SUNMALT®︎-S is produced by the enzymatic processing of starch. SUNMALT®︎-S has processing characteristics similar to sucrose.
