MPC Polymer
A fully synthetic, water-soluble biocompatible copolymer designed to preserve the structural integrity of assay components and reduce non-specific binding in ELISA, CLIA, lateral flow, and molecular assays. Composed of MPC monomer, it forms a stable hydration shell that physically reduces non-specific protein adsorption and maintains antibody titer and enzyme activity during storage.

Benefits:
- Superior blocking efficacy over BSA: Demonstrated in sandwich CLEIA/ELISA to reduce non-specific background signal at 450 nm down to approx. 0.014 (compared to ~0.030 for BSA and >0.70 for no blocking)
- Thermal protein stabilization: Maintains approx. 95% antibody/conjugate activity at 25°C after 20 days (compared to ~50% for BSA and ~35% for no additive)
- Immunoassay sensitivity enhancement: In latex agglutination assays (e.g., CRP test), MPC Polymer increases absorbance at 340-650 nm up to ~2.5 at 0.8 ug/mL CRP (compared to ~0.25 for PEG-6K and ~0.0 for control)
- Fully synthetic and animal-origin-free: Produced by chemical synthesis without animal-derived ingredients.
