Built to fit the filter housings you already run

DENAFILTER compatibility

DENAFILTER leaf disc, candle and pack filters are made to match the dimensions of other manufacturers' filters. Send us your specs, and our engineers will confirm the fit and recommend the right media and retainer for your process.

WHAT WE CHECK

Fit is only the first check

A compatible filter has to do more than seat in the housing. Every review covers four things:

concentric circles with check mark

Nominal size, outside diameter, inner-diameter type, hub style and number of filters per center post

water drop in a container icon

Media type (nonwoven depth or wire mesh surface filtration) and micron rating

thermometer icon

Resin, melt temperature (°F), pressure (psi) and throughput (lb/hr)

blocks falling into stacked formation icon

Housings, center posts, heaters and valves, if you're upgrading more than the filter

SIZES WE MATCH

Standard leaf disc dimensions

Nominal size Outside diameter Inner-diameter options

7" 7.0 in (177 mm) 1.87 in (47.6 mm), 2.50 in (63.5 mm)
8" 8.7 in (222 mm) 1.87 in (47.6 mm), 2.50 in (63.5 mm), 3.00 in (76.2 mm)
12" 12.0 in (304 mm) 2.50 in (63.5 mm), 3.00 in (76.2 mm), 3.35 in (85.2 mm), 4.55 in (115.5 mm)

Media grades run from 3 to 60 µm as standard, with custom grades and dimensions available. Don't see your size? Send us a drawing.

  HOW A COMPATIBILITY REVIEW WORKS

number one

Send your specs.

Filter type and size, inner-diameter type, media grade, resin and operating conditions. A drawing or current part number speeds things up.

Number 2

We confirm the fit.

Our engineers match the dimensions and recommend the media and retainer for your process, flagging any differences from what you run today.

Verify it on your line.

Start with a trial set, a DENALAB rental unit or a DENALYZER test on your own resin. We help you plan the trial and review the data with you.

MORE THAN A MATCH

Same fit, with room to run better

A compatible filter has to do more than seat in the housing. Every review covers four things:

Lower pressure drop

Patented TP and CS retainers channel melt toward the center post and are designed to extend time between change-outs.

Better gel capture

Sintered nonwoven metal fiber media traps deformable gels through depth filtration.

Longer service life

304 and 316L stainless steel holds up to high-temperature, high-pressure service and repeated cleaning.

SWITCHING TO DENAFILTER

Thinking about a change? We'll make it easy.

Whether you're qualifying a second source, planning ahead for supply, or looking for longer runs and fewer gels, moving to DENAFILTER is straightforward:

One engineer from start to finish. The same DENAFILTER engineer handles your spec review, trial and qualification.

No re-engineering. Filters are made to fit your existing housings, so your line stays as it is.

Try before you commit. Start with a trial set, a DENALAB rental unit or a DENALYZER test on your own resin.

Change over at your pace. Qualify on one line or one housing first, then roll out across the plant when the data supports it.

Supplied across North America. Shipping to plants throughout the US and Canada, with sales and technical support through NAGASE.

In most cases, yes. Our leaf discs are made to match other manufacturers' dimensions. Send us your current specs and we'll confirm.

Send it with your specs. Our engineers will identify the closest DENAFILTER equivalent and flag any differences.

Most plants verify a new filter on the line before full adoption. We can start with a trial set or a test on your own resin.

Yes. You can qualify DENAFILTER on a single line or housing first, then expand once the results are in.

We reply within two business days. [Confirm turnaround for a full recommendation with Denafilter.]
