Alpha Glucosyl Hesperidin (AGH)
– Reduce Visible Pores: Concept Sheet
November 05, 2025
Alpha Glucosyl Hesperidin (AGH) is a citrus-derived ingredient that helps make pores less visible. Sustainably sourced from upcycled citrus fruit, AGH addresses key factors that cause enlarged pores, including lipid peroxidation and protein carbonylation. In clinical testing, a toner with 0.5% AGH showed a remarkable 36.1% reduction in facial pore scores over 8 weeks — the best-performing result in the study. In addition, AGH showed antioxidant and anti-carbonylation activities, helping to suppress ROS generation, lipid oxidation, and protein carbonylation.
