Function Description:

• KSG-15 functions as a silicone-based rheology modifier and texture modifier that increases formulation viscosity/structure while delivering a silky, non-greasy skin feel and a matte appearance
• it is compatible with common silicone and oil phases and is used to modify sensory and visual properties in personal care formulations.

Applications & Uses:

• Used as a thickener, texture modifier and skin-feel enhancer in personal care formulations — especially skin care and make-up products. Typical uses include incorporation into creams, lotions, primers, foundations and other color cosmetics to provide improved spreadability, a silky touch, and matte appearance. Must be pre-dispersed into an appropriate silicone or oil phase
• compatible with a variety of dimethicone grades, cyclopentasiloxane, certain esters and oils (see compatibility table).
