Nagase, together with Feis.com, has ventured into new application
service provider business in Japan. Service contracts are
offered at affordable 200,000 Japanese yen per month.
The service is customized and designed for local resin molders
in planning and scheduling their molding machines and press
equipment runs. Diagrams and estimates as well as other functions
are visible and can be monitored from central controlling
terminals regardless of location, including those in the remote
overseas plants. In addition salesmen on the run will be able
to confirm availability of stock, update the order system
and access databases via wireless portable equipment such

Nagase is planning to expand this service to the life insurance,
liability insurance and manpower industries, targeting 1000
domestic contracts and annual turnover of one billion yen
by 2004.
