Nagase's newly invented environmental friendly wood material
"PLUSWOOD" is to be used in the rubber stamp stocks
production, which will be launched early 2001.
The wooden stock traditionally used in rubber stamps has
fast becoming a problem for environmental protection and has
led its price to escalate year after year. Polystyrene and
others plastics are hence used in rubber-stamp stocks including
PS resins. While it is now not uncommon to find plastic stamp
stocks, the invented technology for recycling stamp stocks
is first of its kind developed by Nagase. It is expected to
be widely and rapidly endorsed by both the public and private
consumers who are supportive of green products.
Recycling stocks is quite a sophisticated process and has
not been successfully attempted by other industry players.
This start up business by Nagase is definitely a value-add
to the market. Nagase has a foresight that the general public
and government bodies as well as schools will be advocating
more on green products as awareness on environmental protection
is on the rise.
