Pluswood - Recyclable wooden-plastic composite
Nagase created a new environmental-friendly product - PLUSWOOD.
Pluswood is a plastic compounded building material made up
by a composite of non-vinyl chloride, halogen-free thermoplastic
resins and wood powder of grinded wood chips from off-cuts,
thinning and scrap lumber. It is the first plastic composite
developed with more than 51% by weight of wooden material.
The result is a new construction material for the 21st century
that can be recycled and does not emit formalins or dioxins.
Currently this product is applied to the making of handrails,
floorings and walling materials. We are making special efforts
to develop applications that can be incorporated into the
designs of special nursing homes, health facilities for the
elderly, hospitals and commercial facilities.
