Nagase was established in 1832 as a wholesaler of dyestuff
in Kyoto, Japan. We introduced synthetic dyes produced by
Swiss Basel Chemical Industry (current name: Ciba Specialty
Chemicals) into the Japanese market in 1900. Nagase has since
been introducing many quality products and cutting edge technologies
from world-class manufacturers. As a leading distributor of
dyestuff, auxiliaries, chemicals and machineries, Nagase has
been sincerely dedicated to the textile industry in Japan.
In July 2002, we embarked on a new Technical Center in Shanghai
to enhance our service to customers, who expand their business
rapidly in China and South-East Asia. Customers in these areas
are known to demand high level of technical support. We provide
various high value-added consultations, such as how to strengthen
color fastness, recipe reproduction, rationalization of production
and so on. We are a trading firm with an ambition to offer
the global customers niche products at reasonable prices.
In Japan, we own 4 subsidiaries serving the entire domestic
market with an integrated sales system that distributes dyestuffs,
chemical products, machinery and equipment for application
in textiles processing and its related field.
The

Nagase offers highly focused

customer, capitalizing on its extensive network and state-of-the-art
technology: Techno Center (laboratory),
CTI System and Technical
Data Search System.
The Nagase team is capable of handling products from major
dyestuff manufacturers worldwide. We go beyond just buying
and selling and offer expert advice to customers on the best-fitted
dyestuff and dyeing auxiliaries. Besides providing consultation,
due to market demand, we added blending and filling services
for liquefaction, dilution at our logistic centers in Kansai
area. And on top of that, we provide prompt supply of pharmaceuticals
to meet specific users' needs.
The company has also has established close connection with
the downstream apparel industry, as part of its plan,
to proactively identify changes in customer needs
and deliver effective results acting on its collected information while continuing
its research into the latest dyeing technologies.
