The Nagase Group, whom has built its empire revolving around
Chemicals, has wide coverage in the Chemicals market. From
upstream to the downstream market, we can offer manufacturers
of finished products a broad
selection of products, as well as partnering with other
business groups that have developed downstream businesses
domestically and regionally, in innovating new business solutions
that meet the needs of consumer finished products manufacturers.
We had also stepped up distribution and sales support for
customers who moved their operations overseas, including those
customers who find it difficult to undertake the move on their
own.
With the market of our chemical products expanding beyond
Japan to ASEAN countries, and from ASEAN countries to China,
the Chemical Business Group is focusing on developing total
solutions, such as support for customers as they transfer
their production based to China. For instance we are providing
customers with useful function such as smooth procurement
of raw materials and risk hedging on the collection of receivables.
In collaboration with other business groups we intend to develop
applications for those products made by our customers in China,
market and distribute those products, as we expand the scope
of our conventional trading business, taking full advantage
of Nagase's intellectual properties and internal and external
networks.
