Nagase Science and Technology Foundation
The Nagase Science and Technology Foundation was established
in April 1989 to support scientific and technological development
in the fields of biochemistry and organic chemistry. The mission
of the foundation is to contribute to social-economic development
by providing grants and other support to domestic research
and development projects, as well as international exchange
activities. To date it has provided 610 million yen in grants
to 221 domestic research projects and 175 international exchange
projects.
The foundation is a juridical entity recognized for the promotion
of the public interest and its chartering agency is Ministry
of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
